The Colour Purple
Based on the 1982 novel written by Alice Walker and the 1985 Steven Spielberg – directed film, The Colour Purple is a musical that takes the audience through the story of young Celie, who overcomes and eventually rises above her many adversities, through the help and support of three other women in her life. The musical has received overwhelming critical and public acclaim.

The streets of Johannesburg will be painted pink on National Women’s Day as thousands of women #RunUnited in support of PinkDrive. South African rapper and poet, Sho Madjozi will entertain thousands of runners and walkers at the Totalsports Women’s Race at Mary Fitzgerald Square.
