Following the news of Jacob Zuma’s resignation, football fanatics took to Twitter to ask when Kaizer Chiefs coach, Steve Komphela would resign.

Komphela is currently under immense pressure to win silverware to end Chiefs’ six-year cup drought, “I would love to see an end to the current cup drought being experienced by Amakhosi, and maybe the Nedbank Cup could be the one, seeing that it is now the last cup of this season,” he said.

Kaizer Chiefs and Cape Town City will go head to head in a top of the table clash at FNB Stadium on 17 February, and all eyes will be on Komphela.
